How to manage your free trial (Start, Upgrade, Downgrade, Cancel)?

MeetScript offers a 7-day free trial on all paid plans. During the trial you get full access to the plan’s features, and your card is not charged until the trial ends.

Start a trial

1. Go to Settings → Upgrade
2. Select a plan and click Get the plan
3. Enter your payment details — you won’t be charged until Day 8

Upgrade during trial

You can switch to a higher plan at any time during your trial. Your access upgrades immediately and your trial end date stays the same.

Downgrade during trial

You can switch to a lower plan during your trial. You keep the higher plan’s features until the trial ends, then your card is charged at the lower plan’s price.

Cancel during trial

Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel trial. You can still access your plan until day 7. No charge is made.

How to know your charges after the trial

When your trial ends on Day 8, your card is charged based on the plan you’re on at that time.

How to manage your subscription?

How to upgrade your plan

1. Go to Settings → Upgrade
2. Select your new higher plan
3. Confirm payment — you are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your current billing cycle
4. New features are available immediately

How to downgrade your plan

1. Go to Settings → Upgrade
2. Select your new lower plan and confirm
3. Your current plan remains active until the end of the billing cycle
4. The new plan takes effect at the start of the next cycle — no refund is issued for the remaining period

How to cancel your subscription

1. Go to Settings → Billing
2. Click Cancel plan
3. Select a reason and confirm

Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. After that your account moves to the Free plan. Your meetings, transcripts, and recordings are not deleted.

How to adjust paid seats?

Add seats

1. Go to Settings → Billing → Adjust seats
2. Increase the seat count
3. Confirm — you are charged a prorated amount for the new seats immediately
4. New seats are available to assign right away

Remove seats

1. Go to Settings → Billing → Adjust seats
2. Decrease the seat count
3. Confirm — the reduction takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle
4. You keep your current seats until then — no refund is issued

What happens when you remove seats below the number currently assigned

If your new seat count is lower than the number of seats currently assigned, MeetScript will automatically revoke seats from members at the start of the next billing cycle.

Auto-revoke order: seats are revoked from the members who were assigned most recently first
