How To Create MeetScript Account?

Overview

MeetScript uses Google Sign-In — there is no separate username or password to create. All you need is a Google account to get started.

Steps

1. Go to https://meetscript.io/ and click Get Started with Google
2. Click Continue with Google
3. Select the Google account you want to use with MeetScript
4. Grant the required permissions when prompted
5. Complete the onboarding survey — this helps MeetScript personalise your experience
6. You’re in — your workspace is ready

What happens after you sign up

• A personal workspace is created automatically under your account
• You are assigned the Owner role in that workspace
• Your plan starts on Free by default
• A 7-day free trial is available if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan

Install the Chrome Extension

To record and transcribe Google Meet calls, you need the MeetScript Chrome Extension.

1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for MeetScript
2. Click Add to Chrome
3. Confirm by clicking Add extension
4. The MeetScript icon appears in your browser toolbar — you’re ready to record

MeetScript only works with Google Meet on Google Chrome. Make sure you are using Chrome before installing the extension.

Join an existing workspace

If a colleague has already set up a MeetScript workspace, ask them to send you an invite. When you receive the invitation email:

1. Click Accept invitation in the email
2. Sign in with Google if you are not already signed in
3. You are added to the workspace automatically

Joining a new workspace removes you from your current one. If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled immediately upon joining — no refund is issued.
